Reviews
The food was good for the price with great portions. I didn't care for the tamale at all, but the Chili Rejenos and the enchiladas were very, very good. The taquitos were okay. The Nachos are quite good and the chips and salsa are some of the best around. We did have to ask for utensils and napkins, but otherwise the service was fast and done with care.
Food:
I ordered the South of the Border burrito with shredded beef. My S/o ordered the combo 2 burritos which comes with chicken, cheese, sauce, and a side of rice/beans. The south of the border burrito looked good in the presentation but was not my favorite in flavor. The combo with 2 burritos was more like the size of enchiladas.
I've also tried Carne Asada to go. I liked the Carne asada a lot more than the south of the border burrito.
Service:
No wait to be seated. We received chips, salsa, and waters immediately. It did take a while before the server came to take our order. Our food came out quickly and exactly as requested.
Atmosphere:
Had nice paintings and decor. The seating was different from the usual booths.
Shocked at how good this place was.
Service was excellent. Even though they were crazy busy we still had very attentive service.
Food came quick and was served on HUGE hot plates. Flavors were definitely delivered.
Don't forget your churros, they are so good here.
Margaritas were super tasty and not that expensive for top shelf tequila versions.
Would definitely recommend!
Best lengua I've ever had! Best Spanish rice I've had! Rice was not too salty or dry it was perfect! The beans were amazing as well! Service was quick and very attentive! We're surprised we haven't been here before and will be back!
We came two nights in a row and had a great time each time. The food is amazing. It’s really authentic. Being originally from Georgia, I haven’t found a great Mexican restaurant here, and that was really shocking to me. This place is it and one of the best. Way better than matador and great prices that are fair. Alex is a great server and I wish I knew the name of our first waitress she was amazing as well. The only thing critique is the drink menu doesn’t have prices on it, but the drinks are really great and they make the margaritas from scratch. 10/10 all around.
Had to wait a bit when I first came in...not because it was busy, though it was for the most part, but because the person who seats people also takes the call in orders. But no waiting after that. I was promptly seated and the service was great. The peach margarita had some kind of somewhat odd flavor that I couldn't put my finger on and it was off-putting at first...but overall, it was great. The Enchiladas Jalisco was delicious and their Mole sauce suited my taste quite nicely. The flan was a great finisher, though a bit more 'solid' than I am used to. Overall, this place had great food and great service....I'm glad I ventured out of the hotel for this meal!!!
Came here last night. The food and service was amazing! Now I'm back again second time in a row. Alex took great care of us. I mentioned I lived in Phoenix and I missed the spice so he brought out the good salsa with chips! Highly recommend it!
They are very reasonably priced! Food is pretty good and the service is top notch! Be ready to get your food in speedy time.
